Hello Gladiators! I hope you all are doing well and having a fantastic day. My name is Kyle York and I am the Principal of the Colorado Springs Region for GOAL High School. Throughout my years in education I have fought to build several alternative high schools and earned many grants to support students that don’t fit in the regular brick and mortar school model. It is my passion to provide a school environment that is flexible to our students and parents needs. Enroll today in one of our amazing drop in centers here in the Springs and change your world. While you are enrolled find the best pathway to help you earn your high school diploma, prepare yourself for your future, learn the Gladiator way to ShowUp, Connect, and Succeed, and become a productive member of society. Welcome and have a great school year!!!

Hello Gladiators! My name is Jason Meyer, and I am an Assistant Principal at the Citadel site at GOAL High School. With a foundational background in music education and administration, I found my niche working with diverse student populations, which solidified my philosophy that “all students have the desire, ability, and capacity to learn”. In my own educational journey, I achieved 3 bachelor’s degrees from the University of Northwestern, St. Paul and a master’s degree from the University of Northern Colorado. In addition to teaching and principal licenses, I have also gained a myriad of certifications in areas such as cognitive coaching, restorative practices, and as a Microsoft Advanced Educator. Outside of education, some activities I enjoy are spending time with my family, leading worship at church, playing games (board games, video games, word games, etc.), and both playing and watching sports. Although I am originally from Minnesota, after moving to Colorado, my wife and I have embraced life on the front range, and our family has happily called “the Springs” home ever since.

Hello! My name is Leah Segura, and I am an Assistant Principal at the GOAL – Citadel Mall location. This year is my 25th year working in education in the Pikes Peak Region. I fell in love with teaching my senior year in college when I worked as an undergraduate teaching assistant for the Honors Biology and Microbiology Departments at Colorado State University in Fort Collins. I taught secondary science for 10 years, and I have served as a secondary administrator for both middle and high school for the past 15 years. I am a National Board Certified Teacher in Young Adulthood Science, and I have an extensive background working with diverse student populations to include English Language Learners, students with disabilities, and gifted learners. I am a firm believer that ALL students can learn and achieve, and I am excited for the opportunity to work with the GOAL High School Community to ensure our students have the best educational opportunities to establish a secure and successful future!

Have a question or feedback? We’d love to hear from you!
