Bryana Burns
Chief Financial Officer
Bryana is the director of finance at GOAL who manages, leads, and coordinates the day-to-day operations of the finance department. She has 15 years of industry experience in accounting, non-profit finance, and governmental auditing. She is a Colorado native and a licensed CPA. She has a bachelor’s degree in accounting, a bachelor’s degree in economics, and a master’s in business administration from CSU-Pueblo. In her spare time, she likes tackling home renovation projects, boating, and spending time with friends and family.
Heather Trujillo
Finance Generalist II
Heather is a Colorado native who loves working at GOAL as a finance generalist. She arranges travel and events for the staff and supports the mission of educating the children. She has a diverse background in recruiting, administration, fitness, and government. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, playing golf, and watching movies. She also has a passion for interior decorating.
Dan Cowling
Purchasing Specialist
Dan is the purchasing specialist at GOAL who oversees the procurement of supplies, equipment, and materials for the school. He has a background in business, logistics, geology, and is an Army veteran. He loves working at GOAL because of the outstanding culture, collaboration, and uniqueness. He has a BS in Geology from Colorado State University, MBA from Trident University International, and graduated from the Army’s Command and General Staff College. He enjoys spending time with his family, over-landing, sight-seeing, writing, and classic cars.
Nicole Jackson
Sr. Payroll Manager
Nicole is a senior payroll manager at GOAL who oversees the payroll processing for the school. She has years of experience in payroll as well as data and system management. She loves the positive work environment, the work life balance, and the amazing finance team at GOAL. She also worked as a real estate agent, a bank manager, a court reporter, and more. She likes to spend time with her family and learn new things. She shares a quote from Mahatma Gandhi: “Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever.”
Margo Harriman
Senior Accountant
Margo is a senior accountant at GOAL who manages the financial records, grant billing, and budget alignment for the school. She graduated with a BS in Finance from University of Colorado at Denver. She has over 20 years of accounting experience in various organizations, and she loves working with numbers and Excel. She grew up as a military brat and lived in many places, including Japan. In her spare time, she dabbles in photography and enjoys spending time with her family and dogs.
Brandi Moore
Finance Payroll Specialist
Brandi is a finance payroll specialist at GOAL who ensures the accuracy of employee timesheets, extra duty pay, communicates with leadership about payroll issues, and prepares grant reports. She also collaborates with HR on onboarding new hires and training them on the payroll system. She loves the culture and environment at GOAL that help staff be their best selves. She has a BS in Finance from Metropolitan State University, a Masters in Banking from CU Boulder, and a CPP certification. She has worked in banking, nonprofits, and purchasing before joining GOAL. When not working at GOAL, Brandi spends time working with her husband at their radio station they own together.
Michelle Racine
Accounts Payable Specialist
Michelle is an accounts payable specialist at GOAL who handles payment processing for the school. She pays all invoices, utilities, and rents, reconciles the p-cards, and prepares tax forms for vendors. She works closely with other departments and maintains good relationships with the vendors. She has an associate degree from Champlain College in Vermont and worked at Parkview Medical Center before joining GOAL. She values attention to detail and strong work ethics. She likes to spend time with her family and enjoys outdoor activities. She also used to own a hardwood flooring company in Vermont.
