GOAL High School – Excited for Graduations and Growth!
Trinidad State College (600 Prospect Street in Trinidad) will host GOAL High School’s Walsenburg and Trinidad 2022 graduation ceremonies on Thursday, June 2nd at 6 p.m. The ceremony is one of eleven being held statewide, with nearly 1,000 graduates having earned their diplomas from GOAL, headquartered in Pueblo for the past 14 years.
A high percentage of these graduates will receive workforce and industry certificates, college credits, and some will have already graduated from college, having earned their associates degree through GOAL’s concurrent enrollment program.
All curriculum is delivered through online platforms, and all thirty-seven student drop-in centers are once again open across Colorado for tutoring, quiet study, counseling, a meal, or various other needs.
GOAL’s naturally social-distanced drop-in centers are anything but traditional, featuring contemporary, comfortable furniture, and a bright and airy open concept. These “sites” are often described as: inviting, comfortable, warm, quiet, and supportive, and student friendly.
Chief Executive Office, Dr. Constance Jones, relayed her thoughts of the upcoming celebrations… “We are so proud of our graduating Seniors and their perseverance throughout their most unusual high school careers. The fact that they have gone through this historic pandemic and did not let it become an excuse; nor did they allow it to prevent them from finishing their coursework to graduate. It makes their graduation even more special!”
Enrollment is under way for the 2022-2023 School Year. GOAL High School welcomes ALL students and families and is a proud partner of the local school districts to assist every student in a meaningful education on the way to becoming productive members of society.
